The Refuge Church Mission: – Life can be tough and challenging, we want to help, we are a Church that helps people FIND & FOLLOW Jesus. No matter your challenges or what you are going through, you have a family Church who you can lean on for support to find courage and security in God through Christ Jesus.
Our Vision
- To bring individuals to Christ through undiluted Word of God. Reaching out to the Unchurched people by turning them to Kingdom citizens. (Global harvesting of souls).
- Equipping and building believers, into full stature of Christ through DISCIPLESHIP by becoming like Jesus.
- Equipping every believer, for a significant ministry by helping them to discover, develop and deploy the gifts that God gave them.
- Empowering individuals to achieve their financial dreams through training that helps to build asset-based wealth – giving you more choices and freedom in life, making you financially free.
- To demonstrate the Love and Power of God through signs and wonders.
- To raise people of power, purity and purpose who will be excellent in all they do.
- To raise transformational leaders, who will be leaders of industries. (Leaders of Leaders).
what we believe
About the Scriptures: We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.
About God: We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Saviour of the lost world.
About Humanity: We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
About Salvation: We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
About the Christian Life: We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.
About the Church: We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.
meet our pastors
Pastor Enoch & Joy Alamu are the founders of The Refuge Church UK, also known as City of Refuge Ministries UK. A Ministry commissioned to impact and change lives.
They are both Pastors, Teachers, Mentors, Authors, and Conference Speakers.
They are both a blend of gifts and grace, a dynamic speaker, inspirational writer; on a mission to help their generation to live up to their true potential and live to the fullest.
Enoch & Joy possesses an exceptional passion to birth mental transformation in people and to help them celebrate who they are. They believe in redefining the status quo and mediocrity that is prevailing in our world.
Pastor Enoch studied Master in Theology (MTh) from University of Winchester and gained another Master in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Celebrated in many circles as one of the most inspiring voices of this generation, they are in increasing demand as a speaker at seminars, conferences and conventions.
They are happily married and blessed with three children. To God be the glory.
