Christ, The Power And Wisdom Of God
1 Corinthians 1:24… to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
People today run after two things: miraculous signs and wonders, and knowledge. It was no different in Bible times. The apostle Paul acknowledged that “Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom”. (1 Corinthians 1:22)
So when Paul preached Christ crucified as God’s solution to them, the message was “to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness”. (1 Corinthians 1:23) They didn’t understand how getting a revelation of Jesus and His death could give them the miracles they needed or the wisdom they wanted.
Beloved, we don’t have to run after miracles or wisdom today. We just need to run after Jesus because He is “the power of God and the wisdom of God”. The more we know Christ and Christ crucified, the more we will have the power and wisdom of God.
Several church members have shared how they have seen the power of God blast financial debts out of their lives. Not knowing what to do about their debts, they looked to the Lord to deliver them. And the Lord was able to do so mightily because He is indeed the power of God.
So if you are facing a financial debt, Christ has the power to remove the debt. And because He is also the wisdom of God, He will show you where you went wrong and teach you how to stay out of debt!
Let me give you another illustration. Let’s say a man, whose wife has left him, looks to Jesus to bring his wife back. Christ, the power of God, brings about a miraculous restoration of their marriage. But it is Christ, the wisdom of God, who will teach the husband how to keep his wife by showing him what he had done wrong and what to do to strengthen the marriage. If the husband does not have this wisdom, it will only be a matter of time before the same problems surface and his wife leaves him again.
My friend, Christ is both the power and wisdom of God to us. As the power of God, He removes obstacles in our paths. As the wisdom of God, He continually directs our paths!

Wow, Christ has the power to change our situations – even those that we got ourselves into through ignorance or disobedience. He also has the power to help us to never get into that situation again – through His divine wisdom ✨✝️. We have an all-rounded Saviour who has everything that we need. Nothing is too hard for our God 💖. He removes the obstacles, then He shows us the way to go – He directs our path. What a MIGHTY God we serve!! Praise the Lord 🙏🏾🔥🌻. INDEED, CHRIST HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE OUR SITUATIONS – EVEN THOSE THAT WE GOT OURSELVES INTO THROUGH IGNORANCE OR DISOBEDIENCE.
I THANK GOD OUR FATHER THAT HEARS US WHEN WE PRAY IN THE UNDEFEATED NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH HIS RESURRECTED SON.
THE ONLY NAME THAT SAVES SOULS AFTER WE REPENT OF OUR SINS OF DISOBEDIENCE THROUGH LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.
PRAISE GOD HE HAS GIVEN US THE WORD JESUS CHRIST WHO BECAME FLESH. HE CAME THAT WE WILL SEE HIS EXAMPLES OF HOW TO BE RECONCILED BACK TO THE FATHER. HE CAME WITH KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING TO ALL WHO WILL HEAR HIS WORD. HE SPOKE TO HIS OWN THAT WE WILL GET THE WISDOM OF SALVATION AND RECONCILIATION BACK TO OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.
WHEN WE RECEIVE THE WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF WHO JESUS CHRIST IS.
THEN WE ARE EMPOWERED TO LIVE A RIGHTEOUS LIFE PLEASING TO GOD.
OUR HEAVENLY FATHER SAID THERE IS NOTHING TO HARD FOR HIM, BECAUSE HE IS A GOD OF POSSIBILITIES.
WE NEED WISDOM?
ASK GOD.
WE NEED TO KNOW HOW?
ASK GOD
WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT, WHEN AND WHY? ASK GOD. HE IS THE WAY MAKER, MIRACLE WORKER, PROMISE KEEPER, THE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS. THIS IS WHO HE IS.
THE GOD OF HEAVENS AND EARTH HAS ALL POWERS TO REMOVE EVERY NEGATIVE OBSTACLES FROM OUR WAY, JUST DEPEND ON HIM, TRUST HIM, BELIEVE THAT HE IS A COVENANT KEEPING GOD, WHO GAVE US ALL THAT WE NEED BEFORE HE FORMED US. HE HAS ALREADY PROVIDED ALL OUR NEEDS.
SO I ASK AGAIN, IS THERE ANYTHING TO HARD FOR GOD?
NO, NOT AT ALL.
ROMANS 8 V 31- 32 SAYS IF GOD IS FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US.
GOD IS FOR US, SAYS PAUL, HAVING GIVEN HIS OWN SON FOR “ALL OF US” (Rom. 8:31–32). NOTHING IS ABLE TO COME BETWEEN US AND THE LOVE OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.🙏🏾🙌🏿🙏🏾❤️✝️🩸🩸🩸🩸.
HIS FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS IS SEALED WITH HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD AND BY THE FIRE 🔥🔥🔥 OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. AMEN.
OOOOOHH, MY DEAREST PASTOR ENOCH I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY ABOUT YOU ANYMORE. WHEN EVER I READ THESE DEVOTIONALS MY MIND GOES FAR AND DEEP.

This stood out to me … “we don’t have to run after miracles or wisdom today. We just need to run after Jesus because He is “the power of God and the wisdom of God”. The more we know Christ and Christ crucified, the more we will have the power and wisdom of God.” This provoked my spirit, it is so easy for us to focus on the gift instead of the giver of that gift. It became apparent to me that the more i run after Jesus ! The more I will have the power and wisdom of God ! Wow thank you Jesus !

Above is the handed recipe to one drawing closer to God through Christ, but two how to enjoy the supernatural graces He has truly given us through Christ finished works on the cross. Family we are to rely on Christ (our navigator in life) and find our peace/answers to life by receiving more of Him as we grow to know Him and applying all He has taught us. In doing so, as the power of God, Christ removes obstacles on our paths and as the wisdom of God, He continually directs our paths to all the things we need to make Heaven! Today CHRIST is all that we need in life, the true and only source of Power and Wisdom of God of whom I embody today!
