Declare God’s Word Over Your Situation
Psalm 91:2: I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”
When a great storm arose as Jesus and His disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee, He did not say to His disciples, “The storm is here to teach us courage.” Instead, He took authority over the storm and said, “Peace, be still!” And there was a perfect calm. (Mark 4:39)
When He met the widow of Nain whose only son had died, and on another occasion, the two sisters whose brother Lazarus had died, He didn’t tell them, “God wanted to take him home.” No, He spoke to the dead son: “Young man, I say to you, arise.” (Luke 7:14) And standing outside Lazarus’ tomb, He said, “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43) And both men came back to life.
What have you been saying about your situation?
When you feel the pain in your body, don’t say of the Lord, “God wants me sick to teach me to trust Him more.” Instead, say, “Lord Jesus, I thank You that by Your stripes I am healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
And while trying to make ends meet, don’t say of the Lord, “The Lord keeps me poor to keep me humble.” Instead, say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
We are living in the last days when there are terrorist attacks and deadly viruses lurking around, and the world is afraid. But we will not speak negative words and be fearful like the people of the world. Instead, we will speak God’s Word and reign over these things. Like the psalmist, we will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”
So find out what God’s Word says about your situation, believe it and declare it. And because God’s Word cannot return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11), you will see what you believe and confess come to pass!

I pray this month of February the month of opening doors will be successful in all areas of my life in my relationship with God, with my love Mat, financially abundance, career will excel. My son will be healed of this violence behaviour he will be still and at peace and will talk frequently and become independent. For my mum gallstones to be crushed and healed and be pain free.

What a powerful devotion 🔥. It’s so true, it’s so easy to make excuses for our situations & to try to make it seem like ‘its all good, God is in control’ when infact, God has given us to power to tear down everything that doesn’t favour us, anything that doesn’t bring Him the Glory. He has given us authority as we proclaim His word that things will become as we declare it. ‘What you don’t want, you don’t watch’ – Pastor Enoch Alamu. Anything we don’t want, we must use God’s word to tear it down and replace it with the good we want to see from His word. Amen & Amen. Thank you so so much for this declaration sir! Praise be to God! This is such a powerful devotional to start the month with! Indeed we are living in the last days, but what will set us a part in this world, is how we respond to circumstances/situations the world brings us. Speaking in negative words, pretending like things don’t matter/will go away eventually without us dealing with it and being fearful like the people of the world has never got us anywhere nor will it bring us positive results. But when we daily search out what God’s Word says about our situation, believe it and declare it, we will surely manifest His Words in great results and begin to reign over these things. And because God’s Word cannot return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11), we will see that what we believe and confess starts come to pass! Therefore my response daily will be in declaring what the Word of God has said over my life, operating from a position of victory on all sides, and having dominion and power to trample over any negative word or act the devil tries to bring my way, for He has no future or authority to speak things over my life. All I need to remember is that Christ conquered it all so that I may be equipped to deal with the matters of life with God’s Word and the Comforter besides me at all times. So as I declare God’s Word over my life as the Psalmist did, I will boldly say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust” in all matters of life.
Thank you Pastor for being a great example of showing us what it means to find our picture in the scripture to help navigate through life. May the Lord continue to elevate you to higher heights Sir, these devotionals are transforming lives. More grace Sir.

I therefore confess that,
I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
2. I am chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world that I may be holy and
blameless before the before the Father (Ephesians 1:4).
3. I am predestined to adoption as a daughter by the Father through Jesus Christ
according to the good pleasure of His will (Ephesians 1:5).
4. The Father has accepted me in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
5. I have redemption through Jesus Christ’s blood and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians
1:7, Colossians 1:14).
6. I have obtained an inheritance in Christ (Ephesians 1:11).
7. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of my inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-
14).
8. God raised me up in heavenly places to sit with Him in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:6).
9. I am saved by grace through faith. I am not saved by my own works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
10. I am God’s masterpiece. He created me anew in Christ Jesus, so I can do the good things
He planned for me long ago (Ephesians 2:10 NLT).
11. I have been brought to Father by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:13).
12. For He Himself is my peace. He made the Gentiles and the Jews into one by breaking
down the barrier of the dividing wall (Ephesians 2:14 NAS).
13. I have access by one Spirit to the Father through Christ Jesus ((Ephesians 2:18).
14. I am strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man according to the
riches of His glory (Ephesians 3:16).
15. Christ dwells in my heart by faith. I am rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17).
16. God does exceedingly abundantly above all that I could ask or think according to His
power that works in me (Ephesians 3:20).
17. God gives me the victory through Jesus Christ my Lord (1 Corinthians 15:57).
18. I thank God! He always leads me triumphantly by the Messiah and through me spreads
everywhere the fragrance of knowing Him (2 Corinthians 2:14 ISV).
19. I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16).
20. He made Christ who knew no sin to be sin for me that I might become the righteousness
of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21).
21. I am in Christ Jesus and therefore I am a new creation. Old things have passed away and
all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
22. If I sin, I have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1 ESV).
23. All of God’s promises are yes and amen for me because I am in Christ (2 Corinthians
1:20).
