God Helps The Helpless
Psalm 63:7- Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
I have had people tell me, “Pastor Enoch, please pray for me. I can’t see a way out of the mess I am in. I know that this whole thing is my fault. Right now, I don’t even know whether God will hear my prayers.”
If you think about it, a whole lot of our troubles are of our own making. But it is when we deserve the punishment and not the blessing that we can receive grace — the undeserved favor and unmerited help of God!
When we stop trying to be deserving of God’s help, we find God more than willing to be our Savior. But when we continue to try to work things out, we are trying to be our own saviors. God will say, “Save yourself because I can’t help you when you don’t need My help.”
You might be thinking, “But Pastor Enoch, don’t you know, God helps those who help themselves?”
Contrary to popular belief, this saying that “God helps those who help themselves” is not in the Bible! God does not help those who help themselves. He helps those who are helpless and dependent on Him. He helps those who look to Him as their only source of help for their problem.
If you say, “My problem is that I am weak.” God says, “That is not a problem. I am your strength.” If you say, “Lord, my face is the problem. I am ugly.” God says, “My face will shine on yours. I am your glory.” If you say, “Lord, I am the problem. I am a nobody.” God says, “I will make you a somebody.”
Unfortunately, many of us are still trying to help ourselves, thinking that for certain matters, we don’t really need God. But God says, “Without Me, you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) Do we really believe that? Or do we believe that without Him, we can still do some things to help ourselves?
Only when we realize that we can do nothing, and are nothing in and of ourselves, can we do all things through Christ who strengthens us! (Philippians 4:13) Then, we will see the undeserved, unmerited help and favor of God deliver us from every evil!

Praise god for all he does for me and son and family and my loved one he will never leave me or forsake me. Be anxious for nothing he will never give anything you know you can not handle as sometimes it can test of your commitment to God. I as a child of god will try my best in every situation i am put in as it makes me a stronger person. I so happy in life at the moment in all areas off my life and i want to thank you God for making me happy again.
I pray for mum who had a mini stroke this week that she gets better and is healed in Jesus name and she keeps trusting in you.
I pray for my son Zacaria that he becomes still, calm and violence stops and Zacaria will talk and be independent.
I pray for my loved one Mat that he finds god again as he recently lost his wife and he has bring up his children and step child that he has strength and courage to help through these difficult times.
It was our destiny that brought us together and you were there at the right time what started as a friendship and turned in relationship that we continue to support each other daily and communicate with each other well and we will see where this will lead that we will work through the many obstacles if we are going to remain together. God put us together for a reason and so lucky that i met you i have never had such a lovely man take care of me how you do, respect me take me out, spend quality time together and interested me az person and want me to succeed in everything I do. I am so blessed to have you in my life. I pray that you recover your faith with god again and you will see how he will change your life like it has changed mine. In Jesus precious name Amen

God does not help those who help themselves. He helps those who are helpless and dependent on Him and look to Him as their only source of help for their problem.👌
I am and my household are divinely helped by God because He alone is the author and finisher of our Faith who we look up to for every solution in our lives.🙏🏾. God is indeed our Source who provides the resources and brings life to every situation we bring to Him. Even Christ utilised His life here on earth to depend on God throughout His journey. God has known us before we were even in the womb, He knows what need at present before we do and has hope for a great future for us. By not seeking His help (which is ultimately the best help), we place ourselves at a disadvantage. Therefore, I surrender all to You, everything I give to You, withholding nothing! I seek Your face in the challenging and good times, and depend on You in all things, for You are my Divine Helper! Glory be to God!
