God Is A Giver, Not A Taker.

If my heavenly Father has already given me heaven’s best — Jesus, how shall He not with Him also freely give me all things? Thank you so much Pastor Sir.

James 1:17 says “ Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”
Nothing that comes from God is less than perfect and good. Hallelujah

As children of God, we know what the Father’s will is for us. He is a giver, not a taker! Jesus said, “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32) It is the devil who is the thief. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. But Jesus came to give us life more abundant. (John 10:10) 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The enemy would like individuals to see God as a God that hurts and punishes us, so he lavishes at the thought of people thinking this and puts more misery and suffering in their way – he thinks this will turn people against God, so this spiritual warfar is the enemy’s way of thinking he will get people on his side. But as Christians, we know the beautiful character of our God. For Jesus said you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father also. God is merciful, kind, loving, giving, full of grace and wants the best for all mankind. It hurts our Heavenly Father when he sees the sufferings of this world as this was never Gods intention of how His creation would be. Can you imagine you’ve created a masterpiece and it gets destroyed – can you imagine how devastated you would feel?? – this is why God gave his only begotten Son, to give us a chance. To God be the Glory for his love for us endures forever. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LIVING GOD WHO BEFORE HE CREATED ME HE PROVIDED EVERYTHING FOR ME.

AS IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH, AFTER HUMANITY BETRAYED HIS LOVING KINDNESS THOROUGH DISOBEDIENCE. HE MADE A WAY THAT ONLY HE CAN, TO RECONCILE US BACK TO HIM, HE GAVE FREELY HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS CHRIST. JUST SO YOU AND I CAN HAVE ALL THAT HE DESIRED US TO HAVE FROM THE VERY CREATION OF CREATION.

SO HOW CAN I STILL THINK 🤔 THAT GOD GIVES AND TAKES AWAY?
HE IS NOT MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE.
HE, MY BABA GOD HAS GIVEN ME HIS ALL. JESUS CHRIST.
WHAT ELSE CAN HE GIVE TO ME AGAIN? MY LIFE IS IN YOUR HAND HEAVENLY FATHER.

THANK YOU FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT.

Job displayed this very same attitude when he received the news that he had lost his property and children. Thinking that God was the source of his problems and not knowing that it was actually Satan who had come against him, he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:21) Such a statement seems to honor God, but in reality, it reveals an erroneous view of our heavenly Father.

The above definitely gave me a new perspective on Job’s situation. Also how i may view God when things and situations don’t go the way i want them to go.

“Jesus met every need and healed every sickness brought before Him, and at the cross, He gave His own life. Never once did He take anything away from the people who came to Him. And the Bible says that whoever has seen Jesus has seen the Father. (John 14:9)”

When things do not go the way we want them
to go, we should not think it is God who facilitate this happening rather the devils does! God has come to give us all thing!!!!!! Amen!!!!

Thank you Pastor this devotional was very clearly written and I’ve learnt so much from it. God bless you Sir !

God desires great things for us and has shown us that He will go to the ends of the earth to give us as our possessions (which come from Him), He has sacrificed His own Son so we may have life eternal, and freely gave us His Kingdom. Not that God had to prove Himself to us, but our Lord sets the best pace to demonstrate His mighty giving heart. Learning from Job, the lifestyle of Christ and all taught at The Refuge Church, things may leave us in life, but they are always something we can learn from. When they go I have peace knowing God desires the BEST for me and that He is not a facilitator of those losses. And on most occasions (if not all) God does the impossible to drown out our losses with even greater that He has in store for us. If my heavenly Father has already given me heaven’s best — Jesus, how shall He not with Him also freely give me all things? Thank You Lord for all You have graced me with, I eternally grateful Lord.

This has been such an insightful devotional to learn from and a great reminder of all that you have taught us Pastor. Thank you so much for always equipping us with a refreshing Word Sir. More fresh anointing and greater power is yours Sir.
