God Is Your Abba, Father
Galatians 4:6- And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
Have you ever realized that God was never known as “Father” until Jesus came to earth and revealed Him as such? In His prayer to His Father, Jesus said, “And I have declared to them Your Name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:26) What name was Jesus referring to? It was the name “Father”. If there was anything close to Jesus’ heart, it was to introduce God as “Father” to us.
In the Bible, Jesus said, “Therefore, do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’… For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” (Matthew 6:31–32) Once, He said, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11)
Jesus wants you to always have this image of God in your mind — that He is your Abba, Father. Why? Because He wants you to know that there is nothing more important or too insignificant for the Father when it comes to His children.
Imagine a father playing with his five-year-old son, when he notices a splinter embedded in his little boy’s thumb. The concerned father asks, “When did you get this?”
“A few days ago,” the boy answers.
“Why didn’t you tell Daddy about it?”
“I thought you were too busy and that I shouldn’t bother you.”
If you were that father, wouldn’t it break your heart to hear your child say this to you?
A splinter in one’s thumb may be a small thing, but there is nothing too small when it concerns your child because if it affects him, it affects you too. Now, no matter how old you are today, you are still God’s child, so don’t think that your problem is too small for God. If it is important to you, it is important to your Father too. Beloved, always remember that He is your Abba, Father!
Confession:
If it is important to me, it is also important to my Abba, Father! Hallelujah

AMENNNN! THIS IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STORY OF A FATHER’S TRUE LOVE.
INDEED, THERE IS NOTHING TOO SMALL FOR GOD NOT TO CARE ABOUT CONCERNING HIS CHILDREN.
THIS JUST REMINDED ME OF A TESTIMONY JUST OVER 18 YEARS AGO.
I WAS GOING THROUGH A VERY HARD TIME WITH MY CHILDREN AFTER A BAD BROKEN MARRIAGE.
I HAD LITTLE MONEY FOR A WHILE. I COOKED A MEAL FOR US, BUT I WAS GRATEFUL ALL THE SAME AT LEAST WE HAD SOMETHING TO EAT.
I SAID A SMALL PRAYER SAYING OUT TO THE KIDS, OHH WE THANK GOD FOR THIS MEAL. BUT IF ONLY I HAD SOME YAM TO GO WITH THIS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT.
HONESTLY, WHILE I SAY IN THE KITCHEN NOT FIVE MINUTES LATER, THERE WAS A KNOCK AT MY DOOR, IT WAS MY NEIGHBOR, WAIT FOR IT…🤔🤔🤔🤔
A WHITE LADY, WITH A CARRIER BAG OF YAM.😱🥺💃🏾💃🏾 SHE SAID, I DON’T KNOW WHY, I HAVE THIS HERE AND JUST FELT I NEED TO GIVE IT TO YOU, AS I DID NOT WANT SO MUCH YAM.
MY STORY IS THAT, I REALLY WAS GRATEFUL FOR WHAT I HAD COOKED, BUT TO ME IT WAS SUCH A SMALL PRAYER. YET IT WAS SO IMPORTANT TO MY FATHER. HE MADE IT HAPPEN FOR ME. WE HAD MORE YAM IN THAT WEEK THAN EVER.
SO WHETHER IT’S A SPLINTER OR A BROKEN 💔 ABBA FATHER WILL HAVE THE SAME LOVING CARE TOWARDS HIS CHILDREN. NOTHING IS TOO SMALL FOR GOD.

In other words, I have equal status with Christ before God forever. Since Jesus Christ is perfectly acceptable to God, so I am perfectly acceptable to God. I have status with God because of what Jesus did on the cross.
Another insightful read. Thank you Jesus.

“He wants you to know that there is nothing more important or too insignificant for the Father when it comes to His children.”
Acknowledging God as our father is the key to enjoying our inheritance in Christ Jesus. Before any person can be called a child of a man or woman, he or she must first acknowledge been a child of such parent. This then gives him the opportunity into the inheritance of his parent.
God also desires that we call Him our Father so He can call us His children and give us inheritance among the saints (Jeremiah 3:19). Jesus then to show the importance of God’s fatherhood gave the prayer as such “our Father, who art in heaven…”
Luke 12:32 establishes that as now children of God, there should be no fear because the will of our Father is to give us the kingdom. And in this kingdom is power, peace, righteousness, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 6:8,32 encourages us that we should trust our heavenly father because He knows what we need.
If it is important to me, it is also important to my Abba, Father! Hallelujah.
AMEN
My Father who art in Heaven, Amen, Hallowed be thy name!!!
Thank you so much Pastor for revealing this dimension of God in which we rarely see God.
More Grace Pastor
