God Wants His Children Well And Joyful
John 14:9- Jesus said to him, “… He who has seen Me has seen the Father…
Imagine the following scenario: A father tells his little girl, “Come here, girl. Mummy says that you have been playing by the roadside. Is that true?” “Yes, Daddy. I am sorry.” “Sorry? How many times have I told you not to play near the road? Come here! Lie down on the road and stretch out your legs!”
Daddy drives his car over his little girl’s legs. You can hear the sound of bones being crushed and the poor girl screaming in pain!
“Now, darling, you know that Daddy loves you. And Daddy did that to teach you a lesson, that playing by the roadside is dangerous.”
You are probably shaking your head in horror by now, wondering which sick father would do that. Yet, there are many Christians who believe that our heavenly Father does the same thing. They say that He gives people sicknesses, accidents, earthquakes and death to teach them lessons.
But Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” Jesus is the nature of God in action. Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus or God going about healing the sick. If God wants some people sick, then there should be at least one incident in the Gospels where you see Jesus saying, “Behold, your complexion is too lovely, receive leprosy,” or “Blindness is good for you. Remain blind.” But no, never once! In fact, Jesus “went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil”. (Acts 10:38) That’s the heart of God.
As a father, if your child is sick and in pain, your heart just wants him well. How much more your heavenly Father! My friend, God does not give your child a sickness to teach both of you some lesson or to glorify Himself. To think so is to talk out of a warped mind bound by religion! And Christianity is not a religion. It is a loving relationship with your Father in heaven.
Beloved, hear God speaking this to your heart today: “ I do not wish you ill. I will not take away your child or give you a car wreck to teach you some lesson. My heart always wants My children well and joyful!”

This is such an important devotion 🙏🏾🌻, it’s so easy to fall into self condemnation and believe that God is punishing us for sin. But God’s will is for us all to come to the reality in Christ that we are forgiven. That He sent His only son as an atonement for our sin.
He wants us to come into the reality of His love for us – by sending us Jesus as the perfect demonstration. If He sent Jesus to represent His love for us, & all Jesus did was good – stopping an adulteress from being stoned to death, stopping uncontrollable blood flow from an ‘unclean’ woman, changing a murderer of Christians into an ambassador for Christ (Saul into Paul). We should be able to see His history of righting the wrongs in our lives – not creating them.
Therefore, His plans for us are of good and not of evil, plans to prosper us & to give us a future & a hope. Thank You Jesus for loving me unconditionally ❤️. Thank you so much sir for this devotion 🙏🏾🌻

God only wants the best for us. There is nothing to big for him to handle. He says in his word “ for i know the plans i have for you, plans to prosper and a good future” what a mighty God we serve.

God’s heart desire is always to see His children well and joyful.
This is one of the reasons why He a plan for, salvation, sanctification, redemption and restoration through His only begotten son Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice for His children.
I am the beloved of God Almighty. He loves and cares so much about me and God doesn’t want me sick, broke, frustrated but wants me well, joyful and strengthen. This is why He gives us peace by all means Hallelujah
2 Thessalonians 3:16, KJV: Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
God is too faithful that He will not contradict His word. God’s love for me is unconditional and indeed He will not want to see me frustrated, broke, sick or be in any form of lack.
Glory be to God my Maker.

Hallelujah hallelujah Glory be to God we bless God for His word powerful powerful illustrations, pastor honestly I was actually
shaking my head in horror because i was wondering which sick father would do that. Even if the child has done a grievious mistake , and truly as you said there are many Christians who believe that our heavenly Father does the same thing.
Our God is such a loving Father .He always expressed His unlimited love to us through His word ,from the beginning were He gave His ONLY begotten son to died for us ,while we were yet sinners or enemies of God , He also said He has engraved our names in His Hand (Isaiah 49:16) ; And He said we are the apple of His eye (psalm 17:8) and He said I will give a nation for your sake in Isaiah 43:4 ►Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life. Awww what are powerful word to describe a love of a Father ,the Bible said His thoughts for us are good and not for Evil ,but for good expectations. Hallelujah hallelujah praise God, beloved even as Human A Father hardly we will hardly treat our children so badly let alone God Almighty the creator of the Universe.

It is written God plan for us is good and not evil, God know no evil or anything evil all God knows and gives is good gift to his children.
We are so precious to him and that is why he send his only son to die for us so we can lived.

Amen! Thank you Pastor, this is a deep and vital devotional to reflect on as it is important as Christians to monitor the mindset we bring to God. It is easy to forget or overlook the countless of times Christ has saved us/given us victory from challenging/detrimental times in our lives but when we go through pain (that was probably caused by our own choices that didn’t involve God in) we harbour them in our hearts, let it affect/invade our minds and act like God has done us wrong. Yet God has demonstrated through Christ and many other Bible characters lives in the Bible, the depths of His love which is NEVER faulted. He is a dependable God who FAITHFULLY loves us and wants the best for us in life. He arranged the world to be the best for us and even in our costly approaches to taking care of the best He provided for us, He always FORGAVE and provided a new and improved solution for us. He didn’t have to send Christ for us but still loved us that He may see Christ in us and not our repay us for our sins. For Christ Jesus is the nature of God in action, He is The living testimony of God, that we should emulate in life. For Christianity is not a religion, but is lifestyle of a loving relationship with your Father in heaven. Who are we to doubt Him when it is a privilege to have another day to correct our mindset and work towards Heaven. For we are not of this world and we rule/have dominion over principalities and negative things of this world. Our Father who desires good/a priesthood/sonship and so much more and not evil for our lives and future deserves the best from our life/minds to give. The other day Someone asked me “if there is a God why do bad things happen”. I believe your message gives so much clarity around this question.
When reading the story about the father and his daughter playing in the road I was in unbelief ! That how could a father who loves his child inflict that much pain on to his child who he says he loves, so much that the child could sustain Permanent injuries.
Knowing how I felt about the father and his daughter helped me to truly know that God our father doesn’t make bad things happen to teach us a lesson anything bad does not come from God.
Wow I am inspired today and I’ve learnt so much from this devotional ! Thank you Pastor for your time spent to edify the church this was so good to read and study !

God has asked that we love one another.. that is the nature of our Heavenly Father. God is love and he wants us to live in love.
Satan will want mankind to see God in a negative light, so he puts in the mind of individuals that they are suffering because of God! But the devil is a liar, he knows he has already been devoured so he will take as many as he possibly can! But PRAISE GOD that I am a child of THE MOST HIGH! I know my God and I know the plans he has for me…I am prosperous, I am Victorious.🙏🏽🙏🏽
