God Wants His Children Well And Joyful
John 14:9- Jesus said to him, “… He who has seen Me has seen the Father…
Imagine the following scenario: A father tells his little girl, “Come here, girl. Mummy says that you have been playing by the roadside. Is that true?” “Yes, Daddy. I am sorry.” “Sorry? How many times have I told you not to play near the road? Come here! Lie down on the road and stretch out your legs!”
Daddy drives his car over his little girl’s legs. You can hear the sound of bones being crushed and the poor girl screaming in pain!
“Now, darling, you know that Daddy loves you. And Daddy did that to teach you a lesson, that playing by the roadside is dangerous.”
You are probably shaking your head in horror by now, wondering which sick father would do that. Yet, there are many Christians who believe that our heavenly Father does the same thing. They say that He gives people sicknesses, accidents, earthquakes and death to teach them lessons.
But Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” Jesus is the nature of God in action. Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus or God going about healing the sick. If God wants some people sick, then there should be at least one incident in the Gospels where you see Jesus saying, “Behold, your complexion is too lovely, receive leprosy,” or “Blindness is good for you. Remain blind.” But no, never once! In fact, Jesus “went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil”. (Acts 10:38) That’s the heart of God.
As a father, if your child is sick and in pain, your heart just wants him well. How much more your heavenly Father! My friend, God does not give your child a sickness to teach both of you some lesson or to glorify Himself. To think so is to talk out of a warped mind bound by religion! And Christianity is not a religion. It is a loving relationship with your Father in heaven.
Beloved, hear God speaking this to your heart today: “ I do not wish you ill. I will not take away your child or give you a car wreck to teach you some lesson. My heart always wants My children well and joyful!”

He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'”
God is a loving forgiving father, he is faithful and true to his words and all good things comes from Go. Praise the Lord. God bless you Pastor 🙏

PAPA GOD IN HIS WORD AND IN HIS MERCIFUL, LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE NATURE GAVE US EVERYTHING GOOD FROM THE BEGINING OF CREATION. AS A MATTER OF FACT HE SAID IT IS VERY GOOD .
GENESIS 1 V 31.
GOD WAS SO HAPPY ON THE 7TH DAY HE RESTED.
OUR ULTIMATE PROVIDER JEHOVAH GOD OUR PRIEST AND PROTECTOR. HE WHO HEALS ON ANY DAY OR TIME THAT HIS CHILDREN NEEDS HEALING, JESUS DEMONSTRATED THE LOVE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER BY HEALING THE MAN IN THE TEMPLE WITH THE WITHERED HAND. JESUS DEMONSTRATE THAT THIS MAN WAS MUCH MORE VALUABLE THAN THE SHEEP.
JESUS TOLD THE PEOPLE AT THE SYNAGOGUE, THIS MAN IS VERY PRECIOUS VERY VALUABLE. OTHER RELIGIOUS MAN AND WOMEN WHO TRIED TO SHOW THAT THEY ARE MORE HOLY AND LOVING THAN JESUS.
BUT JESUS SHUT THEM BY SAYING TO THE MAN STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND,✋🏾AND HE RECEIVED HIS HEALING.
MOST IMPORTANTLY JOHN 3V16 SAYS IT ALL.
FOR GOD SO LOVE THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.

This devotion has truly touched my heart. It’s so easy for us to think that an unfortunate event in our life is God’s punishment for disobedience. The example of the girl and her dad with the car was so so so deep Pastor. God wants to see me joyful and free, not frustrated and terrified. Unfortunately, sin opens the door for the enemy to attack, and even in these circumstances, Christ’s blood covers us. We must remind these situations of His finished works. Christ did not die in vain. So when we fall short, we must remember His sacrifice. We are forgiven and loved. God doesn’t delight in our punishment, but in our prosperity. His thoughts towards us are of good & not of evil. Praise the Lord ✝️🌻🌼❤️

Pastor this is a very insightful devotional and really puts things into perspective when it comes to how we view God and how we approach disappointment/disobedience in life. But thank God for Jesus and His mercy over our lives. Jesus is the nature of God in action. He makes all things new for us and graces us with the opportunity to receive salvation, forgiveness, redemption, to be made whole and God’s endless love over our lives. We are reminded that God never stops loving us and wants to see us joyful and strengthened despite the choices we have made. He never gives up on us and He is forever faithful. Glory be to God in the highest.
