God Wants To Set You Up For A Blessing
The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” Ruth 2:12
Have you ever wondered why, in some Bible stories, God asked the people to give what little they had to Him? It may appear cruel, but the truth is that God was setting them up for a blessing! God’s way is to use whatever we have, and multiply it back to us once we put it in His hands.
The widow of Zarephath had only a handful of flour and a little oil to make one last meal for her son and herself before they faced starvation. But she trusted God and used a portion of the little that she had to make a cake for the prophet Elijah. And God rewarded her by making sure that her bin of flour was not used up and her jar of oil did not run dry until the drought ended. (1 Kings 17:8–16)
Similarly, the boy who gave his little lunch of five loaves and two small fish to Jesus not only ate well, but he also saw it being used to feed more than 5,000 people with 12 baskets full of leftovers! (John 6:1–13)
Whenever we give what little we have to God, whether it is money, time or energy, it opens up our hearts so that God can fill us up with more. And when we give our lives to God, we can trust Him to make things right for us and to be the rewarder of our faith.
When Ruth, a childless Moabite widow, left the comfort of her home to follow her mother-in-law Naomi and the God of Israel back to a foreign land (Ruth 1:16), she was given a full reward by the Lord. God gave Ruth protection and ensured that she was well-provided for through Boaz, a wealthy relative who took on the role of kinsman-redeemer for her and Naomi. (Ruth 2:9, 4:9–10)
Beloved, as you trust God with what you have today, know that He loves you and is setting you up for more blessings. So expect to see even more of His provision and abundance in the days to come!

2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
It’s a basic biblical principle of stewardship when we are faithful with a little bit, God will trust us with more. Generosity causes God to invest more in us because he knows we will continue to be generous. It’s a cycle of God blessing us so we can give that goes on and on and on and on.
When God bless us, we should be a blessings to others and in doing so
the word of God says whatever you do unto these my children you do to me.
Give it all to God, our time, money and talent and he will bless us abundantly. Thank you Lord.

Let’s not despise the small things we have in our hands. God is attracted to those small things we offer back onto Him, because He is the source of its growth which He reveals Himself through. He enables us to achieve the unimaginable through our humble beginnings, and brings harvest through our small things. So let us not limit what God can do in our lives, but be open to receive those blessings He is setting us up for through the small things we willingly offer back to Him. Thank you Lord for showing us there is nothing you put in our hands that can be wasted, all things can be used for a great purpose, bringing glory to Your name and blessing us beyond our imagination.

The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” Ruth 2:12
Boaz’s blessing to Ruth serves as a reminder that God is the ultimate provider and rewarder of those who place their trust in Him. Just as Ruth found refuge under God’s wings, we too can find comfort, security, and blessings when we seek refuge in the presence of our heavenly Father.
Little is much when God is in it.
Thank you Pastor for this devotional.
Every opportunity to give is an opportunity to be bless. Giving is sowing and every sower reaps, the more you sow,the more you reap.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38 NIV

Hallelujah! God is not a wicked God. The truth is, God will still be God and have more than enough even without us giving to Him. But He gives to us in order for us to be blessed, and in result bless others. The perfect examples of this is on this devotion – both the Moabite widow and the boy with the 2 loaves and 5 fish became a channel of blessings to those in need around them when they gave first. Father I will give You the little that I have, I open up my heart to You ❤️✝️🙏🏾. Thank You so much for this devotion Sir ✝️🙏🏾
