God Wants You Free From Worries
Matthew 6:25: Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Is your heart full of worries about your health, finances, family, or future? Even when all is well, some people still worry because they have heard others say, “You should worry when everything is peaceful because something is wrong when the devil leaves you alone.” So they worry even when there is nothing to worry about!
But Jesus does not want you to worry about what you will eat or drink, or about your body and what you will put on your back. He tells you not to worry about your daily provisions because God, who is your heavenly Father, knows that you need all these things, and He wants to add these things to you. (Matthew 6:32–33)
God is the same God who took care of the children of Israel in the wilderness, feeding them with manna every day for 40 years! (Exodus 16) Under His care, His people had no lack. When the people wanted meat for dinner, He simply rained quails on them. (Numbers 11:31–32) The children of Israel only had to pick them up. If they had gone to look for meat themselves, they probably would not have found any in the desert.
The problem with us today is that we think that we must do something to help ourselves. Some of us may even think that it is easy for Jesus to say, “Don’t worry. Take no thought for your life,” because He does not understand the problems we face in life.
But the truth is that Jesus understands the problems we face in life. In fact, He faced what I would call the “final problem” — death. Death is the “final problem” because it puts an end to all our other problems. Jesus faced death at the cross, conquered it, and rose from the dead. And because He conquered the problem of problems, we can trust Him when He tells us not to worry!
Confession:
I won’t worry because Jesus, who has conquered the problem of problems, will take care of me. Amen 🙏
Jesus conquered the PROBLEM OF PROBLEMS and rose again for us. We should not worry about the things we perceive as problems, Jesus will take care of them.
When He says ‘take no thought for your life’, He is truly speaking from a place of victory and whole heartedly believes that we are saved through Him. We need to do the same.
Thank you for this Pastor, this has been a revelation for me. Not that i am in a place of worry, but knowing what i MUST do if worry comes my way. God bless you sir

And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”
God has conquered death. He has conquered the cross. He never says there won’t be problems. However, he says we should trust in him as he is the solution to all that we face.

about the love of God for us . As the scripture says in Matthew 6:27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifespan? The truth is by worrying we change nothing about the situation rather it makes our health worse and is also a sin because it shows we don’t have faith or trust in God . A lot of promises in the bible are to us to trust in him . Even the bird in the air do not sow but always reap ,what of we that are more important for God , bible said a tree that is cut off still have hope that it will sprouts out again .
peter 5 :17 Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. God cares for us 🙏

Thank you Pastor Enoch for this powerful reminder that our God and Saviour is the provider of our life! The Bible tells us that even the hairs on our heads are numbered! How beautiful is that.. as parents we couldn’t number the hairs on our children’s heads that we love so much – because there are too many. But to know that God loves us so much that even our hairs are numbered – this should show us how loving our Heavenly Father is to us. His love for us is too much to fathom – the love we have for our children are to be multiplied and multiplied over and over and yet we wouldn’t still work out just how much the Lord loves us.🔥🔥🔥🔥. For this reason we would never need for anything. Amen, amen and amen🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yes Amen! This is a prayer point for me ! Because it can be so easy to entertain fear and worry! This devotional (as always) has come so timely! And confirmed what God had told me just yesterday as I drove home from work. I was drawn to the scriptures below!

– “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

– Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

– “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Thank you Pastor because you have really encouraged me to this morning, I’ve used this devotional to pray this morning! I thankful to God I do not worry or stress about what I will eat or drink or what I will wear because my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in Glory.
Thank you Jesus!!! You are so good !!! My faith is in you ! No one can tell me God isn’t real! I feel you working in my life everyday!

Jesus identifies with every problem and issue I have. He has been through it, He knows exactly how I feel! He is able to bear them better than we are; and even remove them from us! Like any good dad, He wants to see us stress and worry free – free from anxiety, fear, depression, lack, doubt, confusion, disappointment & bondage.
Christ tells us to cast all of our cares upon Him for He cares for us. He tell us to be anxious for nothing. Every worry I have, I will continue to bring to the Lord in prayer with thanksgiving 🙏🏾✝️. God is so good that He wants us to give Him every part of us; give it all unto Him. He knows what do to with it better than we do! Thank You Jesus for your unconditional love and care for me ♥️✝️🎊🌻.
