How Much More Will God Take Care Of You!
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matthew 6:26
Perched on a tree branch, two birds were observing passers-by rushing from one place to another. Looking at their faces, one bird asked the other, “Why is man so full of worries and cares?” The other bird answered, “Maybe they don’t have a heavenly Father like we do.”
I believe that the Lord made birds to tell us that we are of more value than many birds put together. In Matthew 10:29, Jesus said, “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin?” Then, in Luke 12:6, He said, “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins?” If you do the math, you will realize that these sparrows are so cheap that you can buy four of them for two copper coins, and you get one thrown in for free!
Sparrows are common creatures in Israel. Yet, not even one of these cheap birds falls to the ground without the Father’s knowledge. (Matthew 10:29) Not one of them is forgotten before Him. (Luke 12:6) So will He forget you who are of more value than all these birds put together?
Jesus said, “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” And if your heavenly Father feeds the birds of the air, how much more will He feed you, His precious, beloved child!
“Why don’t I see the supply then?” you may ask.
The answer is worry. That is why Jesus also said, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’… For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” (Matthew 6:31– 32)
Beloved, if your heavenly Father cares for cheap, common birds, and feeds them every day, how much more will He care for you, His dear, precious child! Let your heart be at rest as you hear Him say to you, “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:31)

Thank you so much Pastor for this wonderful devotion to make us understand that we have an Heavenly Father who cares for us. There is need for us to operate more with the knowledge of this dimension of God as our Father and this will help us to trust more in Him the more we see Him as our Father.
He beautifies, He feeds, He protects, He values us therefore we will appreciate ourselves more, He cares.
All He just requires from us is acknowledging Him as our Father (Jeremiah 3:19)

If my heavenly Father cares for common birds and feeds them every day, how much more will He care for me, His dear, precious child! Not only has He given me the most precious gift which is Christ, but He remind me that I should “come to Him, all who labour and are heavy laden, and He will give us rest” (Matthew 11 vs 28). There is nothing we need to worry about because He has taken care of every need before we have even thought of it. Our God is so thoughtful, considerate, pays attention to the smallest details and desires the very best for us, enabling us to be fortified through the blood of Jesus so nothing by any means can hurt us. He goes beyond just caring for us, but also brings us peace as we trust our lives in His hands to protect and guide us. What a mighty God we serve!
Thank you Pastor for this helpful reminder of how much God cares for us, and thank you for always caring and investing in us Sir. Your reward in Heaven and on earth is mighty! May the Lord continue to enlarge your coast Sir!

Thank you pastor, I remember I was once caught up in prayer and the Lord reminded me that he is the KING of this kingdom and I am his son meaning he will supply all my needs and I should not be afraid of anything.

JUST LAST WEEK I WAS IN MY KITCHEN, LOOKING OUT THE GLASS DOOR 🚪 OF MY BACKYARD, ONLY TO SEE A BIRD 🐦 PUCKING AT THE GROUND BECAUSE IT HAD RAINED, SO THE GROUND WAS SOFT FOR THE BIRD TO PICK UP A WORM, 🪱 I WAS SO JOYFUL AS I SAW THIS WONDERFUL PROMISE OF GOD ALMIGHTY MANIFESTING IN MY EYES. THEN I REMEMBERED HOW MUCH GOD LOVES ME EVEN MORE THAN THIS DEAR BIRD 🐦🕊️ HE JUST PROVIDED FOR. I AM MORE VALUABLE THAN THIS SMALL BIRD.
HE IS MY PROVIDER, MY PRIEST, AND MY PROTECTOR.
