I AM EXTRAORDINARY
Psalm 82:6 (NIV)- I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are sons of the Most High.
Knowing our identity in Christ helps us. And to know God’s decree concerning our lives helps us to live a fulfilled life. This also helps us to overcome the deception of the devil and his agents in feeding our minds with any negative identity. Like the bible said in Hosea 4:6;
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”. Psalm 82:6 is not just a statement made by a Prophet or a person; this is a direct statement from God Himself concerning you, and I.
Today, we are going to look at what it means when God said “Ye are gods” from the bible. In Daniel 2:11, a god does not sit with ordinary men. This is confirmed in the book of Ephesians 2:6 that tells us we are seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus. This means that we can not be subjected to the conditions of this world; sickness, pain, loss, economic recession, poverty, etc.
In Daniel 5:11-12(KJV and NLT), the description of a god is someone who has light, understanding, wisdom, exceptional ability, filled with divine knowledge, can interpret dreams, dissolve doubts and solve difficult problems. If God calls us a god, then these abilities are what are within us. Our inability to tap into these is why there is a lot of confusion on what to do, who to marry, what business to do, and so on. Nothing is hidden from a god (Daniel 2:11).
To a god, there is nothing called impossibilities or too hard because they do not wait for things to happen. They make things happen. We are made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27,1 John 4:17, Matthew 19:26, Jeremiah 32:27). Just like God, we can call those things that are not in existence into manifestation (Romans 4:17, Acts 14:10). When others are saying there is a casting down, a god will say there is a lifting up. A god turns things around (Acts 17:6).
As a god, you cannot be consumed by fire (Daniel 3:25,27, Isaiah 43:2) neither can you be harmed by the weapons and instruments of hell (Acts 28:6) because we have been given power over them all (Luke 10:19).
Beloved, you are a god. Walk in this consciousness, for there is no impossibility. Do not fear what the enemy can do because no matter what they do, you can not be harmed or affected by them. Live Victoriously!
