I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES
“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He shall stand at last on the earth.”— Job 19:25 (NKJV)
Job made this remarkable declaration at one of the darkest moments of his life. He had lost his children, his wealth, his health, and even the support of those closest to him. Everything around him suggested defeat, yet his faith remained anchored in one unchanging truth: “I know my Redeemer lives.”
Notice that Job did not say, “I think,” “I hope,” or “I wish.” He said, “I know.” His confidence was not based on his circumstances but on the character of God. While everything in his life seemed to be falling apart, he knew that his Redeemer was alive and in control.
Our Redeemer is Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for our sins, but death could not hold Him. He rose from the grave, victorious over sin, Satan, and death. Because He lives, we have hope beyond our present challenges. Because He lives, our future is secure. Because He lives, no battle is final and no situation is beyond redemption.
There may be moments when life seems unfair. You may be facing financial pressure, family challenges, health concerns, career uncertainty, or spiritual warfare. In those moments, remember that your Redeemer is not dead. He is alive, interceding for you, fighting your battles, opening doors, healing broken hearts, and making a way where there seems to be no way.
The resurrection of Jesus is the guarantee that every promise of God will come to pass. His living presence assures us that we are never abandoned. Even when we cannot see Him working, He is working behind the scenes for our good.
Like Job, make a declaration of faith today. Refuse to allow fear, disappointment, or temporary setbacks to define your future. Stand firmly on God’s Word and boldly proclaim, “I know my Redeemer lives!”
Your Redeemer has the final say over your life—not your circumstances, not the doctor’s report, not the economy, and not the opinions of people.
What situation in your life requires you to stop looking at your circumstances and start declaring that your Redeemer lives?
The greatest source of a believer’s confidence is not that life is easy, but that our Redeemer lives forever.
