I Will Rise Again
“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.” — Micah 7:8 (KJV)
Life is filled with seasons. There are moments of celebration and there are moments of disappointment. There are times when prayers seem unanswered, doors appear closed, and strength feels exhausted. Yet, one of the greatest truths in God’s Word is this: your fall is never your finish.
The child of God may experience setbacks, but never permanent defeat. God specializes in restoring what has been broken, rebuilding what has been destroyed, and raising those who have fallen. The enemy celebrates too early whenever a believer falls because he does not understand the power of God’s restoration.
David fell into sin, yet God restored him. Peter denied Jesus three times, yet he became a mighty pillar in the early church. Job lost almost everything, yet God gave him twice as much as before. Their stories remind us that failure is not final when God is involved.
Perhaps you have suffered a financial loss, experienced disappointment in ministry, faced rejection, endured sickness, or battled personal struggles. Hear the voice of God today: You will rise again.
Your strength does not come from your own ability but from the Lord. As you wait upon Him, He renews your strength. What seems impossible today will become tomorrow’s testimony. The same God who lifted Joseph from the prison to the palace, who raised Lazarus from the grave, and who raised Christ from the dead is still at work in your life.
Do not remain in discouragement. Refuse to allow temporary setbacks to define your future. Every trial is preparing you for greater glory. Every delay is positioning you for divine acceleration. Every tear is watering the seeds of your next harvest.
Stand up again. Pray again. Believe again. Serve again. Dream again. Trust again. Your story is not over because God is not finished with you.
