Jesus Understands Your Struggles
Hebrews 4:15- For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Imagine meeting the new politician who is to represent your district or neighborhood only to discover that he is not familiar with your neighborhood’s needs and problems. You will wonder, “Can this guy really represent us? Does he know anything about our living conditions? Is he familiar with the various challenges that families here are facing? Can he help me get my child into one of the schools here?” I am sure that you would prefer someone who truly understands your challenges to represent you!
In the same way, I am so glad that right now at the Father’s right hand, we have someone who came as a Man to redeem us, and who fully understands what man goes through. When Jesus walked on earth, He went through every human emotion so that He could identify with us in all points. Jesus is God, but He is in the Father’s presence as a Man, representing us.
My friend, you may feel that no one understands your struggles. Listen, while this may be true of man, it is not true of Jesus. He knows exactly what you are going through and He can sympathize with your weaknesses because He was “in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin”.
None of us have been tempted in all points. But God allowed Jesus to be tempted in all points so that He can understand and identify with the struggles of every single person on this earth. He can be touched by our humanity — our weaknesses, tears, disappointments, griefs… all points!
There is no trial, difficulty, challenge or temptation that you face that Jesus cannot identify with. My friend, the moment you go through it, right there and then, He feels it too. That is the kind of representative you have in Jesus! That is the love of God so that you will draw near to His throne of grace (not judgment) to find mercy and grace in time of need! (Hebrews 4:15–16)

None of us have been tempted in all points. But God allowed Jesus to be tempted in all points so that He can understand and identify with the struggles of every single person on this earth. He can be touched by our humanity — our weaknesses, tears, disappointments, griefs… all points!
Therefore there is no trial, difficulty, challenge or temptation that I face that Jesus cannot identify with. Christ shields me with His love as He has already experienced whatever I go/have been through. His finished works on the cross enables me to rest peacefully that when He is in my boat every storm does not have a choice, but to calm down for His sake.
Hallelujah, and thank you so much Christ for being my Reliable, Dependable, Deliverer, Shepherd and Source of every solution who cares for my sake to be without blemish at all points of testing, even when I don’t deserve You so that I may live today despite sin to fulfill God’s Word according to my life.

Thank you my God for being there all I have to do is to talk to you when I need you. Sometimes I go through things it’s because i need to learn a lesson or make me a better person or stronger or to be resilient as It will only be for a short time.
But I know you are by my side always.

I have a high priest who identifies with my struggles. Wow, this is very comforting sir. Praise God for such a needed devotion this morning!! Sometimes it’s so easy to hide from God when you’re going through something, but the above scripture says that He has been through it and He understands! So we must cast all of our cares upon Him, for He cares for us 🤍🙏🏾✝️. Thank you for this devotion sir 🎉🙏🏾🌻🔥

Thank you Jesus for laying your life down for me, thank you for being my intercessor at the right hand of our Abba Father. I know dear Lord that you are here for me and have always carried me through the storms. When I lay awake at night speaking with you Lord you are the calm to those storms and I know Lord that my life is only complete because you are in the midst of everything I do.
Lord I love you and thank you for my life, my life partner, my children, family and friends. But more importantly I thank you for you, without you Lord I am nothing!
