Make Your Temple A House Of Prayer
Mark 11:17-Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves’.”
It would be great if every time we prayed, the answers came quickly. Thank God for immediate results, but what do we do when the results are not immediate? The promises of God are there for us, but when they have yet to manifest in our circumstances, what should we do in the meantime?
Jesus showed us what to do. After He had cursed the fig tree, the tree did not wither immediately. (Mark 11:14) What did He do then? He went to the temple in Jerusalem and cleansed it, saying that it should be a house of prayer and not a den of thieves. (Mark 11:15–17) After cleansing the temple, when the disciples saw the same fig tree the next day, it had dried up from its roots! (Mark 11:20–21)
Today, you are the temple of God. (1 Corinthians 3:16) And your temple should be a “house of prayer” or it becomes a “den of thieves”. These thieves, or powers of darkness, will steal and rob from your temple, which is your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19) They will steal and rob you of your strength, health, youthfulness, wisdom, hopes and dreams.
So make your temple a house of prayer by praying in tongues frequently. (Ephesians 6:18) When you pray in the Spirit, you are praying perfect prayers. This is because the Spirit Himself makes intercession for you when He prays through you in tongues. (Romans 8:26)
“Pastor Enoch, how long must I pray?”
Well, how often in a day does the enemy attack you with fears, anxieties and worries? How often does that disease in your body remind you that it is there? How healthy and whole do you want to be?
Beloved, as you make your temple a house of prayer, the powers of darkness that have been stealing or robbing from you will be driven out of your life completely. You will see the manifestation of what you have spoken over your circumstances and you will see the withering of what you have cursed!

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE YEAR, I WOULD SAY, SINCE COMING FROM CHURCH AND GOING HOME, I LITERALLY PRAYED IN TONGUES FROM CHURCH WHITTLE TO LONDON AND WORSHIPPING GOD.
IT WAS THE BEST DRIVE AND THE FASTEST TIME OF GETTING HOME.
I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHEN WE GOT HOME, SO FAST, INDEED I AM GOING TO CARRY ON LIVING MY LIFE OF USING MY BODY WHICH IS THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD WHERE THE HOLY GHOST DWELLS IN ME, TO BE A TEMPLE OF PRAYER UNTO THE MOST HIGH GOD.
THANK YOU SIR YOU ENERGISE MY SPIRIT DAILY.
I AM EVER GRATEFUL AND PRIVILEGED TO BE UNDER YOUR ANOINTING. GOD BLESS YOU SIR UNLIMITEDLY.

Hallelujah hallelujah praise the Lord it is very important that we should always pray in tongue to keep the house or temple of God wich is our body a house of prayer . When we look at the story of who was processed in Matt 12:43-45; 43 When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.
44:Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.
45:Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”
As pastor Enoch explain in the devotion we can as well see So according to this passage matt12 :43-45 we understand that leaving the temple of God ,our body empty attract thieves , even more stronger than before .

This is a very powerful devotion 🔥🔥💥💥. The same way the fig tree withered and died when Jesus cursed it, is the same way principalities and powers will wither away when we curse them in prayer! Thank you so much Pastor for such an empowering devotional! It is vital that we prioritise and place importance on our prayer life for it charges us to have dominion and authority over any den of thieves or power of darkness that tries steal from our temple. God has given us the tool in declaring a perfect prayer in speaking in tongues and building/protecting our temple in the way of the Lord through frequent prayers. Through this I will see the withering of what I have cursed come to past and the manifestation of what I have spoken and declared over my circumstances thrive in testimonies that will also draw people to the Kingdom of God. Gift’s testimony yesterday was so powerful and a great example of the application of this devotional!

The authority and influence we command by making our body the house of prayer is unlimited.
” house of prayer for all nations” signifies the fact that when we make our body the house of prayer, we not oy become a no go area for the devil but also an attraction for all nations of the earth and a channel through which they seek God.
Invariably, this implies that while we are able control what happens in our lives we also influence our society, our localities and all the nations of the earth and cast out/terminate every operation of the devil (the thief).
