Practicing God’s Presence
“… and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Matthew 1:23
God has promised you His constant presence (Hebrews 13:5), but are you conscious of His presence every day? When you are conscious of His presence every day, you will experience a peace that gives you rest, joy inexpressible in your spirit and a power that nothing in this world can offer. In fact, you will begin to be peaceful and powerful like Jesus. You will speak and behave like Him. This is because you cannot be in God’s presence without His beauty, love, peace, power and glory rubbing off on you.
But how do you practice being conscious of God’s presence?
Start by seeing God with you in whatever you do and wherever you are. For example, at your board meeting, while deliberating on issues, see the Lord there in the boardroom with you, guiding you in your thinking. And you can be sure that His presence will bring clarity of thought and wisdom to you. You will find yourself flowing with great and sound ideas.
If you are going for an interview, see the Lord there in the interview room with you, putting answers in your mouth. Your nervousness will melt away as you see His favor on you bringing on smiles and approving nods from the interviewers.
Perhaps you are going for surgery. Well, see the Lord in the operating theatre with you, guiding the hands of the surgeons. Your worries will dissipate because nothing can go wrong in the Lord’s presence.
If you are in the middle of an argument, see the Lord standing within earshot. Your words will change and your body language will become more reconciliatory as you see Him right there with you extending His grace to you. There will be a restraint which is not borne of willpower, but which comes supernaturally when you know that the One who loves you and watches over you is with you.
Beloved, when you become conscious of God’s presence in your life, worries and fears will have no foothold in your mind. You will see Him maximizing your joy and fun, and prospering you in what you say and do!

Isaiah 41:10
‘Do not fear, for I am with you;

Yes Lord my Maker. I believe in you and your word for me. I will begin to see God with me in whatever I do and wherever I am.
I will see YOU as my helper and my strength, my source and sustainer knowing that without YOU I can do nothing
I am seeing You in my destiny, relationships, career and profession, marriage, family, business and finances.
I will become conscious of God’s presence always in my life, worries and fears will have no foothold in mt mind again.

My way of victory over situations, challenges, circumstances etc is by seeing my Lord Jesus Christ with me always. He has assured me that, He will never leave me nor forsake me, but will be with me to the very end of time. Hallelujah

I pray that you will put your hands on my son Zacaria as he is a child of yours please make him be calm, for his violent behaviour to stop. I thank you God and your angels for saving me another day when he tripped me up , yanked my hair and i fell backwards on kitchen floor. I had alot pain, migraine and my panic attack and breathing i was able to control it,but no blood or any serious injuries. I still in pain but will be healed .Thank.god. I pray that now that career will prosper, family, my mum health to improve. I will be financial secure soon no more debt.
I also i want to.pray for my relationship with Mat that we continue to go from strength to strength and we prosper to together as a couple through the good times and the difficult times we will face together but we will get through it together.
I pray for children and step child , his family and his extended family that the other day Mat was suppose to meet me and was running late and didn’t want to keep me waiting and one off his children was in the car and let slip that the was meeting me was not happy with his dad which as he still grieving for the loss of mum and would of been in shock that his ad found someone new. I pray that his children and step child and his family and extended family will nor see me as the enemy and with time and patience will come to accept me in Mat life. I do not want to take their mum place and I knew the situation before i got involved with Mat as he was very honest with me from the beginning.. That he was in loving marriage and then his wife got sick with cancer he looked after her and then suddenly passed away. just want to be with Mat and be together and be happy together. I met at time when he was struggling and I happened to be in the right place and right time or god or destiny brought us together. Since I been in Mat life I seen him open up more in his communication, he gone back to work, seeing old friends , has time for family he does not feel lonely or depressed he feels content but still grieving. I pray that Mat family will not give him a hard time about me, that with the time we will meet and they will see I make Mat happy and let us be together.

The presence of God makes us unstoppable
The Presence of God means we do Good and enjoy goodness
The Presence of God heals us makes us a channel through which others are healed
The Presence of God makes us deliverers from every work of the devil.
Genesis 39:2…the presence of God grants us favour and puts us in charge.

This devotional is powerful, not only because of the raw insight provided but because of the practical steps shared for us to actively ensure that we practice God’s presence daily. There is no better, Guide, Helper, Deliverer, Merciful Sustainer, Uplifter, Way Maker, and Loving Father than God. It is a privilege to be able to have an endless access to Him and His beauty, love, peace, power and glory that rubs off on us when we consistently and consciously dwell in His presence.
Therefore for me and my household, we will practice God’s presence daily as we see Jesus Christ within us in whatever we do and wherever we are at. I will continue to work towards the lifestyle of Jesus and sit at His feet concerning all matters of my life. Glory be to God, Hallelujah!
