Prayer Helps You Choose the Right Relationships.
“One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles: Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot.” (Luke 6:12-15).
I personally believe that if we can master the art of making the right choices, we would cut out at least 50% of the pain we have to endure. I also feel that if we can master the ability of choosing the right relationships, we can avoid up to 75% of the problems we have to deal with in life. Our choice in relationships will determine whether we make or break our destinies.
Your success in life will be determined by the closest people around you. The wrong people in and around your life can totally truncate God’s great plans for your life. When Jesus decided to choose the people on His team, He spent all night praying, yet He still chose a traitor. One of the reasons we are disappointed in life is because we choose people for where we are now and not where we are going. We also choose people for who they are now, but only God knows what they will eventually become. We are not cognisant of the fact that a person who is a helper today could well become a hinderer tomorrow. John 13:25-28.
Most times we choose key people in our lives without first praying, so we go to bed thinking we married ‘Rachel’ but wake up with ‘Leah’ in our bed with us. “Now it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter and brought her to Jacob; and he went in to her. And Laban gave his maid Zilpah to his daughter Leah as a maid. So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah. “ – (Gen 29:23-25). We choose wrongly because we make our decisions in the ‘evening’ of our lives with little or no light, then later realise the folly of our decisions when the ‘morning’ comes.

I AM NOT WRITTEN OFF GOD WHO BEGAN A GOOD THING IN MY LIFE WILL ACCOMPLISH IT.
HE IS A COVENANT KEEPING GOD. I TRUST HIM. AGE US JUST A NUMBER. BUT FOR YOU WHO ARE YOUNG AND STRONGER NOW THAN MYSELF.
AVAIL YOURSELVES FOR GOD TO USE YOU TO DO GREAT EXPLOITS IN HIS KINGDOM.

IN PHILIPPIANS 2:12-13, PAUL WRITES, “THEREFORE, MY DEAR FRIENDS, AS YOU HAVE ALWAYS OBEYED – NOT ONLY IN MY PRESENCE, BUT NOW MUCH MORE IN MY ABSENCE – CONTINUE TO WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING, FOR IT IS GOD WHO WORKS IN YOU TO WILL AND TO ACT ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.”

Pray that God will give you wisdom and help you think clearly about your relationships. Ask Him to reveal to you any thoughts or perspectives within yourself that might need to change. We can’t change another person, but with God’s help, we can change ourselves.
Whilst we also pray to God to send or put the right persons in our life, we also need to pray to God to change our own lives as most of the time its the way we lived our lives that attract people in our lives. Search ourselves and ask God to Search us also see if there is any changes or things we need to pray about, let us pray for discernment, PRAY PRAY AND CONTINUE PRAYYYYYYY it is written pray without ceasing.

Our success in life will be determined by the closest people around us, so this is the year to start investing in prayer for valuable and strategic relationships that will benefit our destinies.
