Remember The Cross
Hebrews 10:17… “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
I don’t know about you, but I would say that Hebrews 10:17 is good news. God sees all our sins and says, “Your sins I remember no more!” The words “no more” are a strong double negative in the original Greek text. In other words, God is saying, “Your sins I will by no means ever remember!”
Has God lowered His standards? No, He is still perfectly holy. He did remember all our sins — 2,000 years ago at the cross. Every sin which we have committed has been punished to the full in the body of Jesus Christ at the cross. That is why today, God remembers our sins no more. We should, therefore, not be sin-conscious.
Each time we feel condemned for our past mistakes, God wants us to remember the cross and say, “Lord Jesus, you were sentenced for this sin I committed. You bore the judgment, so God will not judge me for this sin. You were condemned for this sin, so God will not condemn me for it.”
If you don’t look to the cross, you will become sin-conscious and you will walk around with a certain expectation of divine judgment. This will only lead to despair and more sin.
You must come to the place where you know and believe that all your sins are forgiven and you have been saved. Such security enables you to come to God and receive His grace and power to overcome sin.
Hebrews 10:12, 14 says, “But this Man [Jesus], after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God… For by one offering He has perfected forever…”
You and I are perfected because of Jesus’ perfect work on the cross. We are perfected by God’s full acceptance and perfect delight in His Son’s work. Beloved, hear God say to you, “I will be merciful. Your sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more,” and live for His glory!

GOD HAS ACCEPTED ME TO BE PERFECT NOT BECAUSE OF MY PRAYER AND FASTING NOR HOLY LIFESTYLE.
IT IS BECAUSE OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS, HIS FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS.
GOD SEES ME AS HE SEES JESUS AS I AM COVERED BY HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD.
THIS HAPPENS THE MOMENT I ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR.
ROMANS 8 V 1- 4
(1) Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (2) For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. (3) For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh. (4) So that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
HEAVENLY FATHER, HELP ME TO REMEMBER ALWAYS IT’S NOT BY MY WORKS THAT I AM SAVED, BUT IT IS BY THE FINISHED WORK AND OBEDIENCE OF YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST THAT I AM SAVED BY GRACE. THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
THANK YOU PASTOR FOR THIS POWERFUL REVELATION IN THIS DEVOTIONAL THIS MORNING. I AM TRULY BLESSED AND PERSUADED THAT JESUS CHRIST IS MY LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR WHOM I WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE REGARDLESS.

If the one that I sinned against can forgive and forget my iniquity why will I be holding same against myself. It is the trick of the enemy to make me remain sin-conscious hence in despair.

My God has pour all my sins which I have committed into the sea of forgetfulness that it shall be remembered no more.
Once I repent and ask for forgiveness I will not be sin conscious as my God have forgive and forget, I look to the future and will be heaven conscious and Christ minded.

It is finished!! There is no sin that Jesus hasn’t paid for by His blood!! Wow. That is why there is now therefore no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! He has completed it all, we must be righteousness conscious and not sin conscious – the more we focus on the finished works of Christ, the further away the desire to sin will go.
