Remember The Cross
Hebrews 10:17… “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
I don’t know about you, but I would say that Hebrews 10:17 is good news. God sees all our sins and says, “Your sins I remember no more!” The words “no more” are a strong double negative in the original Greek text. In other words, God is saying, “Your sins I will by no means ever remember!”
Has God lowered His standards? No, He is still perfectly holy. He did remember all our sins — 2,000 years ago at the cross. Every sin which we have committed has been punished to the full in the body of Jesus Christ at the cross. That is why today, God remembers our sins no more. We should, therefore, not be sin-conscious.
Each time we feel condemned for our past mistakes, God wants us to remember the cross and say, “Lord Jesus, you were sentenced for this sin I committed. You bore the judgment, so God will not judge me for this sin. You were condemned for this sin, so God will not condemn me for it.”
If you don’t look to the cross, you will become sin-conscious and you will walk around with a certain expectation of divine judgment. This will only lead to despair and more sin.
You must come to the place where you know and believe that all your sins are forgiven and you have been saved. Such security enables you to come to God and receive His grace and power to overcome sin.
Hebrews 10:12, 14 says, “But this Man [Jesus], after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God… For by one offering He has perfected forever…”
You and I are perfected because of Jesus’ perfect work on the cross. We are perfected by God’s full acceptance and perfect delight in His Son’s work. Beloved, hear God say to you, “I will be merciful. Your sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more,” and live for His glory!

Thank you my Father for haven paid for all my (past, present and future) sins, thereby making me, sin free. My sins do not need to be punished for any more because Christ did it once and for all in His body. Glory be to God.

God remembered all our sins and rejected Jesus upon the cross so that we can look upon us in righteousness and accept us.
Galatians 3:27 says “For as many that has been baptized into Christ have put on Christ”meaning when God looks at us all He can no longer see us but Jesus.

Thank you Pastor for opening our understanding that in Christ there is now no more Condemnation of our sins because they cannot even be remembered. We receive total forgiveness through the finished works of Christ.

Now I understand it is because he understood You Lord as a merciful, kind, and compassionate God.
“Your sins I remember no more!” yes I proclaim that my sin YOU LORD will remember no more. Hallelujah.

To my past, present and future mistakes, hear me as I hear the Lord. “Lord Jesus, You were sentenced for this sin I committed, commit and would commit. You bore the judgment, so God will not judge me for this sin. You were condemned for this sin, so God will not condemn me for it.” glory hallelujah what a powerful knock out for the devil.

My eyes, I command you to be fixed to the cross of Calvary. For I believe that all my sins are forgiven and I have been saved. Therefore I receive God’s grace and power daily to overcome sin. What a Mighty God we serve.

Ameeen, this is such a powerful way to overcome condemnation. Remembering that every sin has been punished to the full extent at the cross of Jesus!! The Lord said He will remember my sins no more – therefore we must stop reminding ourselves of them. THEY HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN! GOD NO LONGER DESIRES TO REMEMBER THEM.
Wow this is powerful. I believe self-condemnation can bear many negative fruit – suicide, addiction, self-harm, self-abuse, rejection and many more. If everyone came to this reality, so many lives would be saved and transformed ❤️✝️🙏🏾. Thank you so much for this devotional sir 🙏🏾🌻

Christ truly cleared all forms of sins by paying the ultimate price of dying of the cross for us, so that we may live a sin-free life and truly have the opportunity of understanding/experiencing the depth of God’s love without being worried about the past. His finished works, enables us to have peace of mind despite the devils attempts to make us fill sin-conscious. God you are truly merciful and faithful and it is such a privilege to have the knowledge of what Christ has sacrificially done for us. Therefore there is no condemnation and my heart and mind can remain fixed on The Lord. Thank you Lord for choosing Christ for me, and giving me hope through Your Word, that whatever challenge arises in life I know Christ has already fully paid the price for me, so I can stand confidently in what the Word of God says about me. This in return Lord I give you my life. Your Word is my defense and will equip me any time the devil tries to test me with the past/sin. Thank you Lord for your forgiveness, mercy and faithfulness over my life.
