Round-The-Clock Protection
Psalm 91:5–6- You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
During World War II, German planes bombed London. Houses were leveled. But there was one that remained standing amidst the rubble. Its owner said that when she read Psalm 121:4, which says, “Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep,” she told the Lord, “Lord, since You don’t sleep, then there is no point in both of us keeping awake. I will sleep while You keep watch.” And she did, while the Lord protected her and her house.
In 2005, terrorists attacked London’s public transport system. That day, a lady found herself unexpectedly late for work and could not get to the train station in time to board her usual train. When she finally neared the station, she realized that it had been bombed just a few minutes earlier. Her mother, said she believes that God protected her daughter that day.
God wants you to know that you have round-the-clock protection — “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.”
He protects you from “the terror by night”, which could refer to evils such as rape, kidnap or murder. He promises you protection from “the arrow that flies by day”. This could refer to bullets from a crazy sniper, drive-by shootings or homemade rockets fired into your territory.
God also shields you from “the pestilence that walks in darkness”, referring to viruses which you cannot see. You don’t have to be afraid of deadly viruses lurking somewhere or wonder if some deadly disease is developing in your body.
God also doesn’t want you to be afraid of “the destruction that lays waste at noonday”, such as a tsunami hitting the beach resort you are at, or a bomb going off in the shopping mall you are in.
You need not be afraid because God, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, is watching over you 24 hours a day!

THIS PSALMS IS A PSALMS THAT I REALISED THAT, EVEN AS A BELIEVER IN GOD’S OWN PROTECTION IN MY LIFE, EVEN BEFORE I WAS BORN AGAIN. I KNRW IT WAS ONLY GOD WHO PROTECTED ME FROM A VERY SERIOUS RASIST ATTACK AT WOOLWHICH UNDERGROUND TUNNEL.
I WAS WITH A HUGE GERMAN SHEAPARD DOG, BUT HE WAS AS GENTLE AS A LAMB, BIT LOOKED LIKE A LION. 🦁
OF COURSE NO ONE KNOWS THAT. BUT I WAS WALKING THROUGH THE TUNNEL AND MEET UP WITH SOME SKINHEADS IN THE 1980’S THEY WERE SO BAD. BUT GOD USED THAT DOG TO SAVE MY LIFE FROM AT LEAST 10 OF THEM MEN AND WOMEN, SHOUTING ABUSE AT ME CALLING ME NAMES, BUT THEY WERE TERRIFIED OF MY DOG AS I TOLD THEM BEFORE ANYONE OF THEM LAY HAND UPON ME, HE WOULD HAVE KILLED AT LEAST TWO OF THEM. IT WAS ONE OF MY MOST TERRIFING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE.
WHEN I BECAME BORN AGAIN AND CAME ACROSS THIS PSALMS 91. MY MEMORY WENT BACK TO THIS VERY POWERFUL PSALMS.
I HAVE A SISTER WHOM I SENT THIS PSALMS TO, TO PRAY WITH EVERYDAY, JUST TWO WEEKS AGO, SHE SHOWED ME THE LETTER AND THE SCRIPTURES I SENT HER TO USE FOR PROTECTION. SHE IS STILL USING IT EVERY MORNING BEFORE SHE LEAVES HOME, SHE PRAYS WITH IT.
THANK GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS CONCERNING HIS WORD, WHICH HE HONOURS ABOVE HIS NAME.

It bought me back to a fantastic testimony. That God never sleeps, and when you put your trust in Him, He will save and protect you. It’s no wonder I serve Him REGARDLESS.HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN WITH ME, EVEN WHEN I KNEW NOT, BUT BELIEVE IN HIM.

God’s Word reassures me of His endless protection over my life. In 2 Thessalonians 3:3 it say “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. I am also reminded in Psalm 46:1 that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”.
Therefore I will not Fear. I will put my trust in my heavenly Father who gives me round-the-clock protection. There is nothing He cannot overcome or show me how to overcome. He desires the best for me day and night, and He will never leave me nor forsake me. My covenant keeping faithful Father provides me with full time protection, which I am eternally grateful for. Glory be to God!
