Speak Blessings Over Your Family
Psalm 5:12- For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.
What do you believe and say to your loved ones every day? For orthodox Jews, on Friday evenings in their homes, the father lays his hands on his children and pronounces God’s blessings over them. No wonder Jewish children grow up to be winners in the fight of life! They become some of the world’s greatest inventors, bankers, musicians and entertainers.
Although a minority race, the Jews have produced the most number of Nobel Prize winners. I believe that it is because they bless their children in the same way the patriarchs of the Old Testament did. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob released God’s blessings upon their children by laying hands on them and speaking forth the blessings. (Genesis 27:27–29, 38–40; 48:14–16)
In the New Testament, the apostles pronounced blessings over the churches they were preaching to. To the church in Philippi, Paul declared, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) John released a powerful blessing upon Gaius when he said, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2)
Even Jesus pronounced a blessing of deliverance on the daughter of the Syro-Phoenician woman — “go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter”. (Mark 7:29) This was a blessing of deliverance by proxy. The woman took it by faith and found that her daughter was well when she reached home. (Mark 7:30) Likewise, the centurion took the blessing by faith and healing came upon his servant back home. (Matthew 8:8–13)
My friend, bless your loved ones. Declare over them, “The Lord blesses you and surrounds you with His favor as with a shield.” Speak forth your own blessings by declaring, “Thank You Lord, You over supply my needs and I am in excellent health!”

God was intentional upon man that the first thing He did was to bless man even before giving the purpose for which man was created. Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them…”
In Genesis 22:18, as believers and as seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:28-29) there is a blessing conditioned on the Obedience of Father Abraham and not on us. This I believe is why the Jews are so intentional about who they are.
In Galatians 3:13-14, Jesus died on the cross to terminate every curse and cause us to enjoy the blessing of Abraham.
So, we are blessed and have the resources of blessing for the nations of the earth as Children of God.
As with Genesis 22:18, Galatians 3:8-9, 13-14, as the seed of Abraham, I am a blessing to the nations of the earth so, I cannot be small, cursed or limited. It can also mean that in me is deposited gifts, resources that which is a blessing to the nations of the earth. Since my children are from inside of me, my children cannot be cursed, cannot be small, cannot be limited because they are blessings to the nations of the earth.
As the English slogan “SEE IT, SAY IT, SORTED”… Whatever we see in God’s word about us, we should say them and then they become sorted.
Me, I just key into the unconditional blessing pronounced by God, the covenant of blessing through the obedience of Father Abraham and the blessing through the death of Jesus on the cross.
Therefore, I Pronounce God’s blessings over me and my children and they will grow up to be winners in the fight of life. Glory be to God Amighty. HALLELUYAH. AMEN

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Instead of saying nasty or vulgar things to people or our loved ones let remember the bible verses 3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
Even the bible tell you about your enemies that you should not curse them bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Why would you say nasty thing to your love one, sometimes love one’s can be difficult and nasty but if we stand firm on God’s word he will bless us and blessings will flow from us inside out to bless people and our love ones around us.
