The Lord Will Perfect All That Concerns Me
Psalm 138:8- “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”
There are seasons in life when it feels as though things are unfinished. Dreams remain unfulfilled, prayers seem unanswered, relationships become strained, careers appear stagnant, and doors seem closed. Yet, as believers, we have the assurance that God never abandons the work He begins. What He starts, He finishes.
David declared with confidence, “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me.” This was not wishful thinking but a declaration rooted in the faithfulness of God. The Lord is actively involved in every detail of your life. He is concerned about your family, your health, your finances, your ministry, your career, your education, and your destiny.
God is a God of completion. He does not leave His children halfway through the journey. Even when circumstances suggest otherwise, He is working behind the scenes to align people, open doors, remove obstacles, and accomplish His perfect will. His timing is always perfect, and His plans are always good.
Perhaps you are trusting God for healing, a job, restoration in your family, a breakthrough in business, or fulfilment of His promises. Be encouraged today. What concerns you concerns God. He has not forgotten you. His mercy is still at work, and His hands are still shaping your future.
Do not become discouraged by delays or temporary setbacks. The God who called you is faithful. He will finish what He has started in your life. Continue to trust Him, obey His Word, and remain steadfast in prayer. The end of your story will reveal His glory.
