Time To Use Your Authority
Exodus 14:15–16- And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. 16But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it…
The problem with the body of Christ today is not that we are not praying. We are praying. But many of us are praying desperate prayers. We are praying, “God, help… God, please… God, do something about my problem!”
If you are smiling a little by now, most likely, you know about such prayers and might have prayed a couple yourself. My friend, God does not want you to pray pleading prayers all the time. He wants you to use the authority He has given you to pray powerful prayers, to boldly command and to “stretch out your hand” and see miracles happen.
When Moses stood before the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army in hot pursuit, the Bible tells us that he cried out to God. But God told him, “Why do you cry to Me?”
There is a time for you to cry out to God and there is a time for you to use your authority. God told Moses, “Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it.”
The “rod” you have today is the name of Jesus. As you command in Jesus’ name, your “sea” will open and you will go on dry ground through the midst of your problem.
Do you realize that Jesus did not say, “Go and pray for the sick”? He said,” Go and heal the sick.” (Matthew 10:8) So stop pleading and asking all the time, and start using the authority you have in Christ.
Jesus told the church, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore…” (Matthew 28:18–19) My friend, God wants you to go and use the authority that He has given you. And as you go, miracles will flow!

Indeed God wants me to go and use my authority in my new role and with what I’ve gone through to over come what the devil had planned to break me and lose hope, faith, courage since I became a new born again Christian in June. I am an eargle and Lion believer.
I love to testify the goodness that the lord has done and worked in me.
It’s my 25th birthday today and I live with gratification that I have been able to make it to this new chapter of my life and I can not wait to see the jobs I have to carry out as a lion believer. Making sure I led more people to church to discover themselves in Christ and to see what wonders God does. Why be worried or discouraged when we can hold onto the promises of God’s words as we face challenges us the lion and eargle believers.
Ohhh Pastor thank you for this powerful devotion. I was blessed. I pray for God to keep anointing you with more wisdom and knowledge as you bless us, be blessed as well and your family.

I refuse to accept the tricks of the devil over my life. For I am more than a conqueror ad I speak the word by the authority in the name of Jesus it is established.

Thank you Father for giving us the Opportunity to use the name of JESUS wich is the Rod in our hand . For the is no other name than the name of JESUS and the is Power in the name JESUS. He said all authorities has been giving unto me in heaven and in earth and as this authority has been given back to us (The name of JESUS) this authority is the ability, right, or power to do something. This ability or power is derived from another JESUS for a particular purpose. To cast out demon to speak to situations, problems etcc.. that why I know and know that When I start using the authority I have in Christ, miracles will flow. Devil get lost.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, and as Christ lives in me as my Rod, I have nothing to be afraid of. The devil is a liar and he himself is afraid of me exercising the authority God has graced me with. Therefore, I will operate in authority through Christ Jesus, take charge and embrace the miracles as they overflow in mine and my families lives.
