Your Standing Is Wrapped Up In Jesus
Hebrews 2:17- Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
In the Old Testament, the Israelites’ standing as a nation before God was wrapped up in the standing of their high priest. What the high priest was before God, so was the entire nation before God.
If the high priest sinned, he brought guilt on his nation, and God would reject the entire nation no matter how law-abiding the people were or how faithful they were in bringing their sacrifices.
Conversely, if their high priest was without fault and acceptable to God, God would accept the whole nation even if the people were sinful.
Unfortunately, the high priests of Israel often failed because like any human being, they were imperfect.
Thank God that today, you and I have Jesus as our High Priest, who is 100 per cent Man and 100 per cent God. As our High Priest, His standing before God is always right. Jesus is always acceptable and pleasing to the Father. Therefore, we can never lose our acceptance with God because as our High Priest, Jesus only brings righteousness on His people.
In heaven right now, Jesus our High Priest is seated at the right hand of God the Father. (Romans 8:34) This means that God does not look at you. He looks at Jesus. If Jesus is good, you are good. If Jesus is accepted, you are accepted. If God sees Jesus perfect, then He sees you perfect. If Jesus is righteous, then you are righteous. And we know that Jesus our High Priest is good, accepted, perfect and righteous, which means that that is how God sees us!
My friend, you cannot lose your right standing because Jesus Christ is your High Priest. To lose your standing, Jesus has to lose His standing first. But we know that we have in Jesus a High Priest who is perfect and who cannot fail. So you need never be afraid or conscious of your faults when you come before God. Because your standing is completely wrapped up in Jesus your High Priest, you can come to God boldly and receive all that you need from Him!

Wow, what Jesus has done for us is so deep! To be accepted by God is MAJOR! The blood of Jesus is the most expensive currency & it has been given to us freely!!! It pays for everything, literally everything!! I can never lose my standing before God because my High Priest who represents me can never lose His standing. He remains victorious, a winner, righteous, holy, accepted & loved. Thank you Pastor, these devotionals are really helping us to know who Christ is before God which allows us to know who we are in Christ. This is really helping us to fight against the temptation of condemning ourselves because of our sins. Whenever we fall short, we have a High Priest who we can speak to and who has already paid for our forgiveness. This is not a free pass or encouragement to go ahead and sin, but rather, an awakening to the price that Jesus paid for us & a representation of the unconditional love of our Father ✝️❤️🎉💓✝️

What a powerful revelation of the finished work of Christ to know that with Jesus as My High Priest, I cannot lose my right standing before God.
This means that, I am always right before God so nobody can bring any accusation against me. I have been justified already.
Also, I will always be standing before God. This means I can never fall.
Ephesians 1:13 says we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise. Whatever is sealed cannot lose its content and we can only see the seal. So when God looks at me, He only see His Spirit, which is Jesus Lord for the Lord is that Spirit not me the content.

In Isaiah 43:4, it says, “Since you are precious and honored in my sight and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.”
Because of Jesus we are precious and honored in God sight, he loves us so much that he gave his only son, he would exchange nations for us. Thank you Lord for your continued mercies which is new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. God bless you Pastor more grace 🙏
Yes I cannot lose my right standing because Jesus Christ is my High Priest. I have in Jesus a High Priest who is perfect and who cannot fail. Because my standing is completely wrapped up in Jesus my High Priest, I come to God boldly and receive goodness, mercy, fruitfulness of all kinds in Jesus name.

Such a refreshing revelation about Christ unchangeable finished works. Jesus our High Priest is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus our High Priest who is perfect, righteous, accepted and without fault. His works ensure my standing is completely wrapped up in Him my High Priest, as God sees me as Christ. Because of Christ, I don’t live in condemnation but come to God boldly and receive all that I need from Him!
This is what we call unconditional and selfless love for us, who are not even deserving of all He gives to us. Thank you Christ for being my shield (who paid the ultimate price and protects us from condemnation). Thank you God for seeing Christ in us, that we may live a life that is pleasing to you!

We are covered in the blood of Jesus and therefore our God will accept us and show mercy no matter what. We will be given as many chances as we need, and be forgiven if we seek it. Jesus has assured our place in the Kingdom if we seek out Gods word and live a righteous life.
