I AM EXTRAORDINARY – 2
Psalm 82:6(NIV)- I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are sons of the Most High.
In previous discussions, we took a look at God’s decree concerning us that “Ye are gods” but today, we will be looking into the second part of the verse “…and all of you are sons of the Most High”.
To every believer, through the love of God and our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have been made sons of God (1 John 3:1, John 1:12). Ephesians 3:15 also shows us that we all derive our names from God the Father. You are a child of God!
A son biologically carries the DNA of his parent. This signifies that you carry the DNA of God. Some characteristics of a true son as seen in the life of Jesus with His relationship with God the Father are that the son seeks the will of the father (John 5:30), he does what the Father does because the Father reveals to him all that he does (John 5:19), the son is always with the Father (Luke 15:21), the son knows the Father and reveals the Father (Matthew 11:27).
As a son of God, you are to seek to know God, to do His will and reveal the Father to others. The benefits of sonship consists of knowing God’s love towards you, that all things have been delivered into your hands (Matthew 11:27, 2 Peter 1:3, Psalm 115:16), enjoying the love of the Father, as the Father shows you all things, honour and power (John 5:19, 21).
As a son of God, you transform what is meant to destroy, to something that gives comfort, you loose people from their bondage, you repel the weapons of the enemy and the enemies are destroyed by them (Daniel 3:25). Jesus demonstrates the power we carry as sons of God in Matthew 8:29.
Wherever we get to as sons of God, demons are to flee even without us talking. That is why the bible states that the whole world waits for our manifestation, for them to be delivered from their pains (Romans 8:19-20).
Beloved, you are a Son/Daughter of the Most High God. You have the DNA of God, and you are endowed with power.

Through me, light shines where there is darkness, the blind receive their sight, people are saved and delivered, those in bondage are set free.
